Melissa Giles, CFP®

Melissa Giles serves as Chief Platform Officer at Americana Partners, where she leads the firm’s technology, data, operations, and platform strategy. She is responsible for enterprise modernization initiatives and oversees the infrastructure, processes, and technology capabilities that support the firm’s advisors, clients, and continued growth.

Melissa oversees strategic initiatives spanning wealth management technology, data and analytics, operational transformation, artificial intelligence, reporting platforms, and alternative investment operations. Her work focuses on developing scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data-informed decision-making, and support the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.

Prior to serving as Chief Platform Officer, Melissa was Executive Director of Portfolio and Platform Management at Americana Partners, where she led platform enhancements, operational initiatives, and cross-functional strategic projects.

Melissa began her financial services career with Northwestern Mutual before joining Morgan Stanley in 2011. During her tenure at Morgan Stanley, she held leadership positions within the Private Wealth Management Division, ultimately serving as Business Service Manager for the Central Texas Complex, supporting offices throughout the region.

Melissa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri–Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
