Micah Montiel

Micah Montiel is Senior Vice President of Alternatives Strategy at Americana Partners, where he focuses on the firm’s alternative investment strategy, platform development, and strategic initiatives. His work spans investment solutions, technology, and operational capabilities supporting the continued development of Americana’s alternatives platform.

Micah brings more than eight years of experience across private markets, alternative investments, and financial technology. His background includes private equity, hedge funds, real estate, co-investments, and secondary investments, with experience supporting institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investors. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing and scaling private markets capabilities and leading initiatives across investment, technology, and operational functions.

Prior to joining Americana, Micah held leadership roles at iCapital and Mirador, where his work included building private markets capabilities and developing solutions for financial institutions. He began his career in alternative investments at Northern Trust and later worked in private markets at Pathway Capital Management. Micah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Arizona. Originally from New Mexico, he now resides in New York City.
