John Carlisle
Managing Director
John is currently Managing Director of Americana Partners. Before joining Americana, John headed the southwest region for Jefferies, and prior to that was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he established the Dallas prime broker office and focused on creating and executing growth strategies for the region. He brings over 30 years of experience in the brokerage and equities business, as well as being a well-respected influence in the hedge fund community.
John graduated from Vanderbilt University and is a very active philanthropist, sitting on the board of directors for the Mike Modano Foundation, Chairman of the Board for Jonathan’s Place, and co-founder of Capital for Kids, an organization that has distributed over $21 million to local children’s charities since inception 19 years ago.
John currently resides in Dallas and has two children, Will and Sara.
